Looking for a unique & beautiful gift?

I found something you might be interested in. It is a page and shop I follow on Instagram by a professional make-up artist and artist who creates lovely ART out of a photo or you can choose something from her artistic designs.

I did a telephone consult to chat on what I was looking for.

Next I emailed her a photo of my lips ๐Ÿ‘„ wearing a lipstain that I created for my cosmetic collection. It is a rosy hue. I love it so much I wanted to preserve the memory, photograph and the actual lipstick on my lips.

This is an postcard ad we sent out to my clients when we launched my lipstick. Isnโ€™t it lovely?

This card photo is what I sent the artist to work from.

๐Ÿ‘„

Look at the magical piece she created!

It is a silk scarf! I love โค๏ธ it and am beyond impressed. The artist suggested I frame it and make it wall art but for now…..

I am simply enjoying it around my neck.

My ๐Ÿ‘„ scarf!

Her creation came with a small card that read:

โ€œLady Barbara Pinson Artist Collection. Your fashion fairy godmother. Lady Barbaraโ€™s Art is your JOY, Beauty, Hope.

Wrap Yourself in Loveโ€

Lady Barbara creates original ๐ŸŽจ paintings, then translates those pieces to wearable art, home, fabric, which then become your fashion for rears original lifestyle brand.

Thank you for your encouraging support, with your Lady Barbara Pinson Artist Collection.

That is why I went the extra mile and featured her scarf in my Valentine & Galentine Gift ๐Ÿ’ Ideas segment on TV.

Ancient Beauty Secret

I am an all American girl that happens to be Eurasian and my husband says I am a Combination Platter off the Chinese Take Out Menu. People ALWAYS ask me what is my nationality. Even more when I moved from up North to sunny Florida. When I moved here for my husband I was so in love I forgave Florida for the HOT temperatures and the horrific humidity. But as time went by I came to the conclusion I hate the heat and my makeup melting. I also noticed brides and bridal parties hated it too. So, I pulled out my little box of love for my complexion and made them look amazing. This box is my makeup savior and go to. I have used it on my face since I was a teen and now on my clients for TV work, red carpet beauty moments, photo shoots and for my brides and bridal parties.

It is an Ancient Chinese secret handed down from generation to generation.

What is it?

A white looking brownie (yes like the Brownie we eat). It is a hard cake that becomes loose when applied with a powder brush.

Beautiful Benefits?

  • It is feather light powder that makes your makeup last longer.
  • Makes your colors remain true especially when you have issues with your makeup turning colors and helps them remain true.
  • Great for oily skin and complexions with a bit of acne
  • Tones down shine!
  • Sets your makeup!

But wait there’s MORE!

When I make up my face or a client’s face and I accidentally put a bit more blush on or eye shadow too overpowering or doesn’t look right….I simply take a brush, dip into my rice powder and clean up,soften and blend it out.

Oh and not only does it look great on brides and photographs nicely. It also is great for women of a certain age who get steamy and hot flash. Calms the heat and the powder cools the skin with a soft matte finish.

If  YOU or your client’s makeup is missing that little something or you crave all things Asian Beauty and or something new this is for YOU and to retail to your clients too!

I don’t think I could live without IT AND a gorgeous lipstick.

Yummy ๐Ÿ˜‹ Fiber Treats!

close up photo of raisins and dates

I love to engage and entertain my clients and I like to also do it with food. These energy bites are just the thing and the recipe ingredients boosts with fiber too. A friend of mine who is a guest Chef on TV Danette shared this oh so easy recipe with me. I hope you enjoy it too.

1 1/4 cups raw almonds

1 /14 cups dates (pitted)

1 Tbsp honey ( maybe a bit more)

Pinch of salt

Grind almonds and dates in food processor until fine ( a little coarse is ok, too) add honey and salt.

Process until well combined. …it should be sticky enough to form a ball.

Press down in a 8×8 pan lined with foil. Make sure to press down hard, so it really holds together. Let sit approx 1 hour. ย Pull foil out of pan, and cut into squares.

If it needs more honey to stick together, that is fine. You could use more dates in beginning if you like.

Enjoy for yourself between services with your clients, serving to your clients, family or friends. YUM!
