Spring is on its way!

So in anticipation of its arrival I just bought myself a bouquet of flowers. Guys or gals you don’t have to wait for someone to buy you flowers …

TREAT Yourself and buy them yourself. They don’t have to be expensive! A small 💐bouquet can bring so much JOY!

These days they are available everywhere. Besides my local florist of farmers market I love the flowers 💐 from Trader Joe’s.

Another thing you can do is buy a potted plant 🪴 of flowers 🌸 with greenery.

Plant 🌱 some love ❤️ in your home decor!

Flowers “boost your spirits” just looking at them!

Add fragrance and color to your day with a floral bouquet! 🌺

Our days in Florida right now are cool in the 40’s and we’ve needed to bundle up and cozy up with heat or by our fireplace. It had been dreary rainy days but the sun is shining brightly today.

So, I’m treating my rooms to a spring flower in a bud vase bathrooms.

Then separating more of that bouquet 💐 in vases or pots around the kitchen, living room and dining room.

Saving $$$ never looked or smelled so good!

Happy Spring!

Exhausted …Did you shop till you dropped?

After the long Thanksgiving weekend it’s time to relax. Give yourself a soothing foot 🦶 bath for legs and feet! I worked away in my studio helping clients pick out the perfect gift 🎁 and reminded them to not forget themselves too.

I can tell. My feet and legs are exhausted. So. When time allows. Maybe you want to do this.

What you will need for this recipe:

6 Green tea bags

1 thick slice of fresh ginger peeled

2 drops of peppermint oil

A pot of water 💦 boiled.

Add the above ingredients into the pot. Like you’re making pasta but you’re not.

Let the ingredients mesh and dance together in the pot. Allow the water to cool a bit.

Place in a foot basin. Soak your feet and take a hand towel and dip it into the mixture. Wrap around the legs for about three minutes as well.9

The ginger adds some aromatic heat, the peppermint oil is very relaxing and invigorating at the same time. The green tea soothes tired skin. Do this at least 15mins. Or when water is cool.

Afterwards. Rinse. apply your favorite body lotion on your legs and feet. Rest your cares away. Get cozy in bed.

I love ❤️ to treat myself or my husband to this treat for the feet.

Sandal Weather…

Brings out the best and the worst of feet. Now in the midst of a pandemic some people are choosing to give their feet some TLC instead of going to the spa or nail salon.

A quick rescue I learned from one of my clients from Greece is made with olive oil. Yes, it’s good for making yummy dishes, dressings and salads in the kitchen but it also is wonderful for the skin.

🫒 Olive Oil has so many uses!

Place some olive oil in a saucepan on the stove. Or you can microwave some I guess. Warm on low until you see it is warm NOT so hot it will splatter or burn you. Next, turn off the stove and let it cool a bit.

Dive in the sauce pan with a small spoon and drizzle some of the olive oil on your feet. Start to massage it in and on your skin all over your feet, toes and nail bed.

Rub and enjoy.

Next, I like to place my feet with the olive oil in some cozy socks. My absolute favorite is a pair of white cotton socks. One size larger.

I pour myself a cozy yummy drink and get under the covers and go to sleep.

Wake up with softer happy satiny feet.

Kiss 💋 that dry and tired skin goodbye! Guys love this too! And kids do too.

Try this recipe for your feet 🦶!

Head Over Heels for this!

Farmhouse Fresh skin care has an awesome kit that is called Pedi Delight! It’s a skin care sampler of pedicure treats! A great way to check out this cruelty free beautiful brand.

I have always loved ❤️ this brand. I love it so much I carry it in my beauty business.Women owned and loved.

The Honey 🍯 Heel Glaze smells like grandma or mom made a yummy pie. It reminds me of the glaze on a ham. It is the Texas wild flower and aloe juice that make it extra aromatic and skin softening.

Best of all it’s unisex. Cruelty free, Paraben-and sulfate free,phthalate-free scent!

Self care is important care!

The Honey Lavender Sea Salt Scrub is so calming in scent and exfoliates the feet and heels gently. Not too abrasive.

The Honey Chai Steeped Milk Lotion is creamy beyond believe and hydrates the skin one notch more. You will smell lightly scented and so delish! Cardamom and coconut milk make this a fabulous recipe for your feet.

At Home Mini Pedicure Delight!

My husband loves ❤️ it all too. We used to go for pedi-cures together once a month. But I spoil him now in my spa like treatment room I created at home!

We plan to take this kit on the road when we travel again. Great for pre-pool side foot refreshing after a long winter in shoes and for open toed shoes and sandal weather.

These three easy healthier 🍃 steps are so good for the body and sole!

In a Holidaze?

Me too!

I’ve not bought one gift only a few stocking stuffers. How about you? These pandemic days are starting to annoy me and ruining my holiday spirit. I always find comfort in the little things. But lately it’s been a tough thing to do. This is not me. I usually choose happy. Sorry I have been a little MIA.

However, we all must stay focused and keep our eye on the prize. This pandemic will pass and a few vaccines are coming on the horizon. And WE must try and keep it going.

So since it’s National BathTub Party day. Yes, it’s a thing!

Time for a little self care. I know I share a lot of beauty, skincare and self care love. But that’s because my business is beauty and wellness!

Tonight I’ve decided to make bath 🛀 salts for some of the special people in my life. And later will take a lovely bath in a home-made potion too.

Chillax Bath Salts with Eucalyptus

Here’s what you will need to make it.

Tweak recipe if you’d like to us another essential oil or other item.

1 mason jar filled with Epsom Salts

1 eucalyptus leaf 🍃

5-6 drops of Eucalyptus oil

Fill the jar with the Epsom salts and leave some space and don’t fill to the at the lid top.

Sprinkle eucalyptus oil over the salts (I love the Aura Cacia brand)

Shake jar up so the two mix and the salts and essential oil mesh beautifully. Leave and let it set overnight. This way the Epsom salts will mesh beautifully.

Next day shake again.

Add some rustic twine or any pretty 🎀 bow or ribbon to the top of the jar or around the jar.

Include instructions that you have punch holed to the ribbon.

These salts are inexpensive to make and are great to give especially if you are on a budget this holiday season.

Add a note card with your holiday message and you’re good to go and give!

Enjoy tonight or give as gift!!
