When life gives you lots of πŸ‹ lemons…

My husband bought me not one but two lemon trees 🌳 a few months ago. I am enjoying my life with lemons so much! One tree is outside my business door and another is in my backyard.

So, I get creative and make things!

I usually kill plants cause I work so much in and out of town. But I am on a roll with aloe plants and lemon trees. They are not only surviving they are thriving!!!food healthy nature water

One of the things I have made is a Lemon Facial Toner.

If you want to make some for yourself or your clients here is a recipe.

What you will need is:

2 fresh lemons (lemon peels only)

1 cup of  bottled water

Place lemon peels in a pitcher. I prefer using a small glass one.

Add the water.

Cover and leave this mixture alone for at least 10 hours or overnight.

Strain the liquid through a coffee filter and pour into a clean and sterilized bottle. This refreshing toner will last up to two weeks.

Apply to your face with a flat cotton pad round.

Don’t use on acne or rosacea. Just to be on the age side.

Next up…Sparkling lemon water!

You don’t need to buy the lemon flavored sparkling water. You simply need sparkling water πŸ’¦ that you added lemon πŸ‹ slices too! So delightful and really quenches the thirst.

Serve in a wine goblet or antique shop glassware. Feel like royalty. My clients and family love this! And a fresh mint πŸƒ leaf for decor.

Lemons are so detoxifying and great for your health.

Hot Tea with a lemon wedge

Nothing like hot tea 🍡 with πŸ‹.

Now, traditionally I’m not talking Asian tea. I’m talking. Regular tea. And always served in a pretty cup.

Who doesn’t love πŸ’• to hear the sound of the saucer and cup clinking? Music 🎢 to my ears! And makes people feel so special while sipping away.

I hope you enjoy 😊 and add some lemons πŸ‹ to your day!

4 tablespoons of πŸ₯› milk

3 tablespoons of honey 🍯

Place the milk and honey together in a small bowl. Stir it smooth.

Apply this glossy mix to your face, neck and decolette. Stay away from your eyes and lips.

Leave it on your face for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse well. Apply a refreshing 🌹 rosewater toner next.
