🍁 Skin Care that’s so Fall !

It’s my favorite time of year. I love 🧡 The scents of fall and all things 🎃 pumpkins and decorating my home and my business office with fall decor.

I miss Beautiful New York and walking through Central Park especially when the leaves are in full fall peak bloom! I’m Florida fall leaves and all are not quite the same. But I do love the exotic palm trees 🌴 all around me!

So because a few of you asked I thought I’d share one of my favorite pumpkin DIY scrub recipes I like to do! You don’t have to buy one! Make your own on the cheap! Especially if you have the ingredients on hand. This can also be used as a exfoliating FACE Polish. But if you have acne or Rosacea. Skip it. You’ll want to eat this mix but don’t! It smells so delightful when done!

What you will need for this Aromatic Body Scrub:

1 cup of brown or white sugar

1/2 cup of sweet almond oil

1/2 cup of coconut oil (organic)

1/2 cup of pumpkin in a can

Sprinkle of nutmeg or Pumpkin Pie Spice!

A large mouth mason jar.

🎃 Stir all of the above in a bowl.

🎃 Place in a glass jar. Scoop out a soup size spoonful when you’re ready to use.

🎃 Apply on clean damp skin. Work in circular motions. Neck, hands.arms, stomach, buttocks, legs, feet and enjoy the exfoliating beauty of this scrub.

🎃 Leave on your body at least 15 minutes.

🎃 Rinse well and apply your favorite body oil or lotion.

Your skin will FEEL so delicious and soft.

Did you know pumpkin is a “turn on” for men? If you want to create a little magic. You know what to do!

Hello Summer!

It’s glow time the start of the summer season is the best time of the year! We get to enjoy longer days, sunshine and more! You also get to go shopping 🛍 for a few new things like a new bathing suit, sun hat, pretty sandals and fun or sexy sunnies.

Buy one or two new bikinis 👙 or swim suits!
Sunnies can be so much fun! 🕶
Buy a hat to protect those locks and your face!
Cool off with color!

It’s also the time to start to get your glow on! You know a little bronzer and shimmer go a long way.

But first you must exfoliate your face and body. There are many options to choose from for your skin.

I’m in love with a bottle of CURE Natural Aqua Gel from Japan. (available on Amazon) it exfoliates gently and really makes the skin feel great and products to penetrate and work better on your skin!

This is my bottle at home. I’m about to use it to get ready for a guest speaking engagement. Gotta look my best. I have sensitive skin and have no issues with it. It works wonders!

Dry brushing your body is a must! I like to use both methods. Bye bye dull dry skin!

Brush your body! Don’t use these on your face! Be gentle with that skin you’re in!

So get going! What are you waiting for? Get a head start on that tan or just want to have healthier pretty skin! EXFOLIATE.

Come back for more!

A Berry Beautiful … Multi–tasking Face Mask

My skin is hot and cold and slightly dehydrated . From New York to Florida to back to NY and now in Chicago Illinois.

It’s still not spring in Chicago! It snowed here on Friday. So, multi-masking is always a good idea.

What I whipped up for my skin:

2 tablespoons of Greek plain yogurt

1/2 cup of fresh blackberries or you can use frozen mixed berries

2 tablespoons of local honey 🍯

Next blend the above ingredients in a bowl and pour into a blender.

*Or use a frother (you know like you use to make coffee, chai tea or cream foam)

Apply this DIY kitchen mask on a clean freshly washed face and also apply it to your neck and decolette.

Leave mask on at least 10mins.

Rinse well. Apply your favorite moisturizer.

This mask is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamins! The fresh yogurt kisses dead skin “Goodbye” and the honey makes your skin baby soft.

You’ll want to eat this yummy mask. You can but don’t.

My husband wanted this mask too so I made a bit more. By adding more blackberries.

Then I applied 👁 a gel eye mask to our eyes and we listened to music and enjoyed how wonderful our skin felt and eye area refreshed.

A delicious anti/aging mask!

Head Over Heels for this!

I have always loved ❤️ this brand. I love it so much I carry it in my beauty business.Women owned and loved.

The Honey 🍯 Heel Glaze smells like grandma or mom made a yummy pie. It reminds me of the glaze on a ham. It is the Texas wild flower and aloe juice that make it extra aromatic and skin softening.

Best of all it’s unisex. Cruelty free, Paraben-and sulfate free,phthalate-free scent!

Self care is important care!

The Honey Lavender Sea Salt Scrub is so calming in scent and exfoliates the feet and heels gently. Not too abrasive.

The Honey Chai Steeped Milk Lotion is creamy beyond believe and hydrates the skin one notch more. You will smell lightly scented and so delish! Cardamom and coconut milk make this a fabulous recipe for your feet.

At Home Mini Pedicure Delight!

My husband loves ❤️ it all too. We used to go for pedi-cures together once a month. But I spoil him now in my spa like treatment room I created at home!

We plan to take this kit on the road when we travel again. Great for pre-pool side foot refreshing after a long winter in shoes and for open toed shoes and sandal weather.

These three easy healthier 🍃 steps are so good for the body and sole!

Our Bodies Need Some LOVE!

At times like these we need to take care of our immune system and body too. Since it is summer and we shed our clothes and show more skin we need to also slough off dead skin cells. As well as hydrate the skin on our face and body too. One of my clients shared this recipe with me a long time ago. And I recently discovered it in my pandemic cleaning purge of some paper work etc.

I almost forgot how much I like this recipe alongside eating a bowl of oats or granola with home-made yogurt and fruit in season. To make home-made from scratch yogurt I use Belle + Bella. They have an amazing starter packet and unit to make it. It is fun and when i have leftovers (right) instead of licking the spoon I use the fresh yogurt on my face for a gentle neck and face mask.
