It’s that time…Self-Care Sunday!

So pretty to look at and relax to. Really helps with your mood and stress. The rainbow of shades illuminate the room while the essential oil helps with allergens in the air. I own and love the lamp by CHI …the iconic brand of hair care and styling tools.

I think of this lamp as a drink of water for the skin.

Aloha Detox

I love ❤️ to juice and to celebrate the beauty of juicing with my clients and friends. Lately, my clients are asking for my recipefor a DETOX juice. They want to look better in that teenie & not so teenie bikini 👙 and feel their best too. I am so thrilled to assist. I call this recipe Aloha Detox since I fell in love with exotic and beautiful Hawaii 🌴 and the pineapples and other fresh fruits and veggies there.

1 fresh cucumber

1/4 fresh pineapple slice

1 fresh granny smith apple

1 fresh large beet

1/3  cup juice from a lemon

Wash and place all of the above in a juicer. I am addicted to a Jack La Lanne juicer.

Pour in a tall chilled glass and enjoy. By the way it is sweet and doen’t taste nasty or healthy at all! Enjoy this drink ANYTIME of year.

Cooling, hydrating, refreshing and detoxifying!

Sunday is a funday

Always find time to take care of yourself! As a beauty professional,spa or salon owner you must TAKE TIME for nurturing yourself too. We can only give so much. All work and no play makes you look tired and feel it too.

Take a walk.

Visit your happy place.

Treat yourself to a cozy warm epsom salt bath with your fave’ essential oils.

Eat something you love.

Buy yourself a bouquet of flowers.

Listen to music.

Explore another spa and enjoy a service elsewhere.

I didn’t always feel this way I had to LEARN how to give myself me time and self care time too.

Take it from me it is an art…and so good for your body,mind and spirit too.
