Here’s one of favorite recipes I love to use and have shared with my clients too!
What you will need for this DIY body recipe:
1/2 cup of sweet almond oil
1/2 cup of organic coconut oil
1 cup of raw sugar
1/2 cup of pumpkin purée
* Optional but aromatic You can add a sprinkling of cinnamon spice or a dash of nutmeg!
Stir all of these ingredients and place in a jam or jelly jar. Tighten that lid. Lasts a few days in the refrigerator.
Apply on a clean body and enjoy this aromatic skin polishing you’ve created! Leave on at least 10 mins. Rinse well.
Please do not use this recipe if you are allergic to any of the above. Also if in doubt do a patch test in the inner forearm or wrist. if it turns red or itches it’s no for you. This rarely happens just a word of wisdom.
Makes a great gift idea! Hostess, holiday, Birthday or a treat just got you!
I fall in love 🧡 with this season every year. It doesn’t get old. I love the feel, scents and the weather. It is like the earth 🌎 is exfoliating the past season and getting us ready for winter in more ways than one.
This fall for makeup and fashion it is all about cinnamon and brown earthy hued eye shadow and lipsticks.
Discover some new PINK hues too! There are so many shades to choose from. Celebrities are rocking Barbie Pink and on the fashion show runways. Pink is always a good idea. It brightens the teeth and complexion.
Update your style if it has been awhile. Let’s enjoy all the beauty, scents and sounds the season has to offer.
I am counting down to my last guest speaking engagement of the year at the International Esthetics Cosmetics and Spa show …where I will be teaching in West Palm Beach.
Can’t wait to shop and feast all the beautiful places in Palm Beach! 🌴 🕶 🌊
It seems as though JUICY 🥤 is the “word of the day” at this time for our skin! Social media, magazines, celebrities and shopping channels tout it as something we need to attain. But I’m a bit confused.
I don’t know about you but I’m not sure why we want it. Nor how we get “juicy skin”
I love healthy looking pretty skin and enjoy the rituals for taking care of my skin. But coveting “juicy” is not one I necessarily want.
However I do love juicing and the fun pretty potions I can create and whip up in what I husband calls… “My Beauty Kitchen”
I make them with all kinds of fruits, veggies, and even herbs. So delicious! Whether I want something fruity, very veggie or for a burst of energy you can make some awesome drinks. Including something sweet!
This afternoon I made a yummy and bodacious …
I love the beauty & potassium from bananas!

I’m crazy for coconut! 🥥

Enjoy this cooling and refreshing milkshake like smoothie! Great for your sweetie or the whole family.
It was another long holiday weekend and It was time to do something fun! But since we can’t get out like we usually do we have to do things that make us happy at home too.
Since March I have not touched a face. My beauty cottage is open for pickup orders at our door. And we are happily shipping mail orders. I’m doing virtual events and have already begun getting ready for the holiday season. Yes, it’s important to think about that as business owners.
But back to the fun part! I took some time to enjoy giving myself a natural and Gentle exfoliating facial at home. And I made this tropical drink.
Anti-inflammatory,digestive support and refreshing in a smoothie and as a facial on your face!
Pineapples 🍍 rock!
I love naturalbeauty and since our immune systems needs to stay strong in this time of Covid-19. I’m trying to keep my husband and I and family healthy. In my business I usually serve juice shots which are fresh made juice mini serving drinks. One of my all time fave’s is with pineapple.
Here is what I do for my skin. I cleanse the skin and apply slices of the pineapple directly to the skin. I leave it on the skin at least 20 minutes. Next I rinse my skin and follow up with a rosewater skin toner. It is just a gentle exfoliant and a quick fix on the cheap!

How time flies going through a global pandemic. First you soak in the information you are told. It is hard to even believe what is happening. The days go by very slowly and seem so surreal. Oh the newness of it all. The new normal. Our stay in place at home becomes your way of life. We have even forgotten the day of the week.
The sun 🌞 still shines, the rain ☔️ still comes down and the birds 🐦 are happily singing away. Spring 🌺 has finally arrived for most of us and life keeps growing and going.
But somehow you know things are different now. While I do have my husband to keep me company in quarantine I do not have any children. But …I do have babies! They sit waiting for me in my business. My charming beauty cottage nestled on a quiet street in a neighborhood of homes and business offices.
My babies are the beauties on my shelves. Pretty things that make you look good, smell good and feel fabulous.
I have days at my studio to organize things, rearrange, answer telephone ☎️ calls and emails and to stock up on our shelves, pack up mail orders 📦 and to above all clean and disinfect even more for this COVID-19.
I worked so hard for what I have achieved and have come a long way. I am sure if you own a business or have and are devoted to a career you know what this feels like too.
I HOPE and pray my clients come back to shop and get dolled up with me. I yearn to pamper skin and paint faces. How about you? How’s your business life? Are you even able to open in your state?
But it will be different and with face coverings, masks and not my usual things. I so enjoyed serving blooming 🍵tea, gourmet coffee and something edible. Sweets or fresh fruit and veggies. But now…not sure. I loved hosting fun and yummy shopping 🛍 events. But for now none will be held. My lipstick red doors are closed. I am not officially open and am just shipping orders.
Caring IS sharing…and I simply had to share this post since I LOVE to entertain my clients as well as my family and friends. This bloggers post is giving me all the yummy feels. Hi, I didn’t have brunch today and I desperately wanted to, so after spending half my morning scrolling through brunch-related hashtags on Instagram, I’m here to bring some brunch board ideas to your attention. What’s a brunch board, you ask? It’s more or less a platter of heaven—aka, a charcuterie-board-like spread of breakfast foods. Seriously, what…

I have a whole prop house full of ❤️ hearts and kisses 💋all ready for the season of love!
Time to decorate if you haven’t already begun in your home, office, spa or salon.
Got left over red ribbon? Curling ribbon? Red wrapping paper or other festive things from the Christmas holidays?
Bring them out and save some money 💵 by using up the rest of the trimmings or anything red decor. (Pink or metallics work well too)
Barter with a business or client or family member who bakes and serve some yummy cupcakes, pie, cakes or even chocolates.
I also like to do a chocolate love ❤️ tree. I bought a cone shaped styrofoam piece from Michaels and covered it with parchment paper. I bought a terracotta flower pot and filled it with foam and covered it in faux grass. Looks like a 🌱 and a tree. Got it?
Next I take chocolates from a box of nice chocolates. Stick a tooth pick into a chocolate and pop it in the cone tree.
I fill the entire space of that cone tree with chocolates. Over the Valentine season we put them out the week of and serve them and a cup of decadent coffee. After 5:00 or on a Saturday we offer Champagne 🍾 spritzers. Or serve them straight up.
We decorate the table with confetti’s, shimmering glitter or conversation hearts. Cheap and easy!
We prepare 3 bodacious giveaways!
And do a drawing on Valentine’s ❤️ Day! Clients love it. We also do a drawing for Galentine’s Day.
We also make our lipsticks 💄and lip treatment 💋products or services onspecial.Who doesn’t love a SALE?
