I fall in love 🧡 with this season every year. It doesn’t get old. I love the feel, scents and the weather. It is like the earth 🌎 is exfoliating the past season and getting us ready for winter in more ways than one.
This fall for makeup and fashion it is all about cinnamon and brown earthy hued eye shadow and lipsticks.
Discover some new PINK hues too! There are so many shades to choose from. Celebrities are rocking Barbie Pink and on the fashion show runways. Pink is always a good idea. It brightens the teeth and complexion.

We beauty professionals and speakers have been waiting for over a year and half to reconnect with each other,educate and see what’s trending and new! The show did go on and I could not be BE ANY HAPPIER!

The International Esthetics Cosmetics and Spa Conference was wonderful! My class went well. I was thrilled with all the beautiful faces looking to learn all I had to share with them too!
Yes, there was social distancing but we did not have to wear a face mask 😷 while educating. The show attendees had the option if vaccinated they did not have to wear a mask. There were sanitation stations and there was mindful social distancing. Attendance was UP considering what we have been through. Lines to shop 🛍 were long but worth the wait. I can’t believe the crowds of beauty PROS and spa and salon owners so many happy faces.
It was wonderful to be out and about and to TRAVEL on an airplane again. Seeing lots of people was great and Delta Airlines took good care of me! Chatting with strangers and and seeing SMILING FACES without face covers and masks was beyond joyous.
It was HOT and steamy in beautiful Las Vegas and I got a chance to work and play!!! One day it was actually 116 degrees.
Networking at it’s finest! Like a GIANT COCKTAIL PARTY! The IECSC show even treated us to a cocktail 🍸 or other libations to toast and welcome us back!

Skin care is HOT! It is even more in than makeup! We got to see the latest in action with LIVE demos on the show floor.
Facial embellishments were a thing and step aside tattoos and piercings. Pearls,colorful stencils,flowers and bold eye designs.
Wellness is a MUST in our lives. We must take better care of ourselves!
Self care is the best care!
“Caked on” made up faces are NOT happening. Makeup is heading softer and pretty is back.
Softer prettier makeup is the look now.
Brows and lashes are cared for with serums of gold. Brow laminations are hot.
Lash Lifts are still in.
False Lashes depending on who you speak to are out but faux lash companies are still selling. All kinds of lashes and COLORS!
OVER done and over the top contouring is OUT!
Lip plumpers are still coveted alongside a gorgeous lipgloss or 💄 lipstick.
To plump or not to plump?
Shimmery GLOWY skin is still with us.
Dermaplaning is still hot!
Concealing the entire face with concealer, highlighters and foundation is not in.
Tinted shampoos in all colors too!
Root Powder coverups in all HUES!
HAIR YOU WEAR and take off …faux bangs,pony’s and more are not going away.

With “ maskne”,winter blast 🥶 weather and stress from the pandemic were in… it is all taking a toll on our skin. So, I decided to interview one of my favorite’s in the skin care industry. If you read this blog you know I am an educator in the beauty & spa industry. But ALL our shows and show season have halted because of the time we’re in.
I so MISS educating, going to shows and conferences and seeing my friends in beauty. Victoria Tabak is one of them. She is not only a skin care expert but following her on Instagram is so much fun. I see you are a mom. How many children? How do you juggle your family and business?
3 boys, they’re 7, 4 and 2, so I am always running around.
I’ll be completely straightforward, it is extremely difficult and I’m still learning & trying to get it right, but one thing that’s for sure is that at any given moment something’s gotta give.
Having clearly defined boundaries definitely helps moderate stress, but it is challenging to maintain those boundaries because being a Mom is a full-time job, meanwhile so is being a business owner, it requires you to intentionally shift attention and focus all day long. I am certainly a work in progress, like my business, but every day moving forward, taking one step at a time.
What is your most popular product?Or products that clients covet?

And she said according to her Twitter post: “That gave me some shit that dried out my face more and make me get more pours. They said it would take 3 months but I don’t got time for that and didn’t give a reason on why I am breaking out.”
What is wrong with this picture?
My thoughts as a beauty and skin professional…
ALWAYS seek a professional! That’s what they are for. They are trained professionals. Not fans. (While word of mouth recommendations are fine and work out some time.) And one consult may not be enough. If one Doctor doesn’t work for you try another. And remember not all skin issues are acne or the same. A few clogged pores does not mean it is acne!
Patience is key when being treated by a Dr. or esthetician.
They can’t help you unless you go to see them and have them look at your skin. Cardi B’s skin could have been on its way to looking better and healthier if she just made that call and see another doctor if she felt she was not getting results.
Dermatologists nowadays are also retailing skin care not just injectionbles and Botox but professional medical grade skin care. There are many reasons why the skin can have issues. Hormones,diet,stress,overkill of makeup,going to sleep with makeup still on.
Maybe the current skin care you use needs a refresh!
Maybe what you are using isn’t working for you anymore. Time to try something NEW. A makeup artist,skin care expert or dermatologist or plastic surgeons office can recommend a line and plan for you.
