Refreshing Pumpkin ๐ŸŽƒ Polish!

As you may know by now I love ๐Ÿ’›* pumpkins!

Hereโ€™s one of favorite recipes I love to use and have shared with my clients too!

What you will need for this DIY body recipe:

1/2 cup of sweet almond oil

1/2 cup of organic coconut oil

1 cup of raw sugar

1/2 cup of pumpkin purรฉe

* Optional but aromatic You can add a sprinkling of cinnamon spice or a dash of nutmeg!

Stir all of these ingredients and place in a jam or jelly jar. Tighten that lid. Lasts a few days in the refrigerator.

Apply on a clean body and enjoy this aromatic skin polishing youโ€™ve created! Leave on at least 10 mins. Rinse well.

Please do not use this recipe if you are allergic to any of the above. Also if in doubt do a patch test in the inner forearm or wrist. if it turns red or itches itโ€™s no for you. This rarely happens just a word of wisdom.

Makes a great gift idea! Hostess, holiday, Birthday or a treat just got you!

Golden Milk!

Have you tried it?

This aromatic spice filled cozy drink is a traditional drink with roots in India and must have in Ayurveda medicine. Like sipping a cup of hot tea it is so soothing and an anti-inflammatory. It will warm your body and spirit on a cold day! Or into the spring and summer it will bring you a healthier warm drink to add to your routine. Daily or weekly … enjoy sipping!

My clients are facing stress, digestive issues and more during these pandemic days and I shared this with them to help them feel a bit better. Some have tried this golden milky hued drink and liked it.

Hereโ€™s what you will need:

A smooth as silk cozy healthy drink.

1 and 1/2 cups of milk or other milk type milk you prefer

1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon

A sprinkle of black pepper

1 teaspoon of ground Turmeric

1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground ginger

If you want to sweeten you can add some organic local honey or even maple syrup will work well.

Add honey or maple syrup to sweeten!

Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a light boil. Lower the heat. Strain and pour in a cup. I like to use a hand held mini frother to make it more like a latte. Makes one cup.

Times are tough itโ€™s is true. So make sure you take time for your health and YOU. Small simple things like this can make such a big difference. If this isnโ€™t for you try making a delightful drink with Matcha green tea. Whatever you do please take care of one and only you!

Pretty Pumpkin Pie ๐ŸŽƒ facial mask

What you will need:

1 can of pumpkin pie filling

1 teaspoon of honey

1 sprinkle of nutmeg

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Stir in all of the above in a bowl. What you will have is a creamy and dreamy gentle natural exfoliation mask. No harsh chemicals. I find even my clients with sensitive skin love to use this and have no issues.

You may use fresh pumpkin but I love using the can in a pinch!

*But please do a patch test on the inside of your arm near your wrist or a section of your face to see if you have a slight reaction. If you have allergies to these ingredients don’t use this D.I.Y.

I like to leave this on at least 10 minutes. Rinse with luke warm water and a washcloth. Afterwards use your facial toner and moisturizer.

Place remains in a small jam or condiments jar you recycled and you can use it again in a few days.

Sip a cold glass of fresh apple ๐ŸŽ cider and you’ll make the day even more delicious.

Enjoy!
