Happy Mothers Day! 🌺
I hope my followers and visitors of my blog have an awesome and delicious day today!
I know for some of you it’s a glorious day and others it is a hard one for an array of reasons.
But enjoy your mom and grandma or other mother figures in your life today! And celebrate 🎉 the beauty and memories of Mother’s Day!
I’m going to write a love letter to my Mom today. Her fave & my memories lives with me forever.
Oscars… almost showtime!
Soon the celebrities will walk the red carpet and get to their seats in anticipation of who will WIN and a movie 🎥 star and more celebration. I love to watch this show and I get to see all the behind the scenes beauty from the show.
What I know for sure is celebrities clamor for glamor and definitely want to look younger,hydrated,tightened and have softer plumper pillowy lips!
While they do eat junk food the prep journey to the red carpet is a beauty detox and fasting one. They do everything in their power to look thinner, sexier and glowing.
I like to celebrate 🎉 the Oscars with a few friends or ALONE . My husband prefers to watch other shows from year to year. But I make this day a delicious evening of food, drink and fun. So, today I prepped away.
But I also like to combine this with a beauty filled night of self-care and pampering. Prosecco or champagne cocktails or a delightful cocktail are a part of the evening. Popcorn added is always a good idea. Bathed in warm butter and a few chocolate shavings on top is heaven. Popcorn, champagne and beauty! What a great way to spend the evening.
I pull out an array of skin living products. I line them up in a beautiful basket and use every thing! It’s been a long action packed month with beauty shows, events and being on TV. I NEED a bit of Love Me❤️ Time!
Oscar worthy beauty can be:
Take a bath or shower first.
An easy to use & no mess sheet mask for your face, under eyes, feet,hands,decolette or even hair. You may not look like a sex kitten in your night gown doing this but your skin will love you.
Follow up with a luxe face and an aromatic body lotion.
By the way, I do put in a pretty nightgown and even have a pair of sexy feather slippers. If you feel like add a crown to the mix if you think you’re a 👑 queen.

💋Lipstick in general from soft to bold hues. Women are starting to pull out those lipstick tubes! Lip stains rule!
💋Lip conditioners and lip balms are HOT!! These face masks are making our lips dry as ever.
💋 Lip masks are HOT too! From Korea, Hong Kong and now made in the USA 🇺🇸 these masks are little miracle workers.
💋 The dark trimmed lip liner is out. Invisible or Nearly Nude are IN!
💋 Lip Exfoliators are a skin care necessity!
💋 if you vape or smoke cigarettes 🚬 maybe you want to give that a rest and rethink it. If you want your lips to look prettier and more youthful and kissable. You need to do the right thing. Each puff makes you wrinkle more! Day after day! Really!
💋 Wearing sunscreen on your face is a must. Also… pay particular attention to and protect the tissue on the upper lip area and chin from 🌞 sunburn and wrinkling!
💋 Honey 🍯 is a delicious and cheap lip treatment. It can be used on the lips only or all over the face!!
💋Lip brushes make your lipstick look better and your tube last longer. It is a makeup artists fave brush.

All the beautiful people and new products were in Las Vegas!
We beauty professionals and speakers have been waiting for over a year and half to reconnect with each other,educate and see what’s trending and new! The show did go on and I could not be BE ANY HAPPIER!
The International Esthetics Cosmetics and Spa Conference was wonderful! My class went well. I was thrilled with all the beautiful faces looking to learn all I had to share with them too!
Yes, there was social distancing but we did not have to wear a face mask 😷 while educating. The show attendees had the option if vaccinated they did not have to wear a mask. There were sanitation stations and there was mindful social distancing. Attendance was UP considering what we have been through. Lines to shop 🛍 were long but worth the wait. I can’t believe the crowds of beauty PROS and spa and salon owners so many happy faces.
It was wonderful to be out and about and to TRAVEL on an airplane again. Seeing lots of people was great and Delta Airlines took good care of me! Chatting with strangers and and seeing SMILING FACES without face covers and masks was beyond joyous.
It was HOT and steamy in beautiful Las Vegas and I got a chance to work and play!!! One day it was actually 116 degrees.
Networking at it’s finest! Like a GIANT COCKTAIL PARTY! The IECSC show even treated us to a cocktail 🍸 or other libations to toast and welcome us back!
Here is a list of what I discovered on that’s Trending and NEW! Some I predicted and knew but some trends I saw on the show floor.
Skin care is HOT! It is even more in than makeup! We got to see the latest in action with LIVE demos on the show floor.
Facial embellishments were a thing and step aside tattoos and piercings. Pearls,colorful stencils,flowers and bold eye designs.
Wellness is a MUST in our lives. We must take better care of ourselves!
“Caked on” made up faces are NOT happening. Makeup is heading softer and pretty is back.
Brows and lashes are cared for with serums of gold. Brow laminations are hot.
Lash Lifts are still in.
False Lashes depending on who you speak to are out but faux lash companies are still selling. All kinds of lashes and COLORS!
OVER done and over the top contouring is OUT!
Lip plumpers are still coveted alongside a gorgeous lipgloss or 💄 lipstick.
Shimmery GLOWY skin is still with us.
Dermaplaning is still hot!
Concealing the entire face with concealer, highlighters and foundation is not in.
Tinted shampoos in all colors too!
Root Powder coverups in all HUES!
HAIR YOU WEAR and take off …faux bangs,pony’s and more are not going away.
Glossy faces!
Bright shiny glass like skin for the hair.
💅 Nails are fresh and natural but also pointed and embellished and long!
Facial Masks reign supreme! ALL kinds of treatments,smell and feel amazing!
Celebrities weren’t the only ones on the Las Vegas Strip.
We were there and it felt so amazing!

Betty White our favorite darling American actress is turning 99 YEARS YOUNG today!
What we have learned through the years from her is keeping a positive attitude,have a sense of humor,exercise your mind and enjoy life. Did you ever notice she seems to be always smiling and has such a pretty one too.
I also note in her many interviews and on TV she also has three favorites to living a long happy life (Alongside having good genes) is she loves a good cocktail (Vodka), Hot dogs and a good PB & J.
I know we all don’t get this and GIFT in life!
Although I once had a client named Rose who came to my beauty business until she was 103 years young! She told me she loved coming to me because I make her feel good, keep her cool and young following all the beauty trends!
CELEBRATE all the beautiful days of your life. ENJOY every day as if it was your last. Once this day (the gift of today) goes away we can never get it back.

Happy New Year …CELEBRATE!
Sorry I have been M.I.A. I have been wrapping up the year in my business,enjoying my husband’s family our bubble) and reflecting on what’s next for me. I thought I would be celebrating with a trip back to familiar places and see my families beautiful faces again. Or explore and travel to Poland like I was supposed to travel to this year in the spring. But Covid-19 had other plans for me! (And the world)
I have been working on my podcast to launch soon and trying to keep my husband and family safe and healthy! And just like you trying to keep going and get through this pandemic too.
So I’d like to wrap New Years Eve 2020 quickly and start fresh with a beautiful new clean slate. But first I want to make a toast to you!

It is time to celebrate 🇺🇸 the red white and blue or even if you don’t celebrate it in your country let’s celebrate YOU! Mask on or mask off at home get out that red lipstick and celebrate America and happy to be alive too!
Lipstick 💄 is happiness, lipstick gives instant gratification. Lipstick gives your face a lift! 💋

Getting ready for …Valentine’s Day
My favorite time of year!
I have a whole prop house full of ❤️ hearts and kisses 💋all ready for the season of love!
Time to decorate if you haven’t already begun in your home, office,spa or salon.
Got left over red ribbon? Curling ribbon? Red wrapping paper or other festive things from the Christmas holidays?
Bring them out and save some money 💵 by using up the rest of the trimmings or anything red decor. (Pink or metallics work well too)
Barter with a business or client or family member who bakes and serve some yummy cupcakes, pie, cakes or even chocolates.
I also like to do a chocolate love ❤️ tree. I bought a cone shaped styrofoam piece from Michaels and covered it with parchment paper. I bought a terracotta flower pot and filled it with foam and covered it in faux grass. Looks like a 🌱 and a tree. Got it?
Next I take chocolates from a box of nice chocolates. Stick a tooth pick into a chocolate and pop it in the cone tree.
I fill the entire space of that cone tree with chocolates. Over the Valentine season we put them out the week of and serve them and a cup of decadent coffee. After 5:00 or on a Saturday we offer Champagne 🍾 spritzers. Or serve them straight up.
We decorate the table with confetti’s, shimmering glitter or conversation hearts. Cheap and easy!
We prepare 3 bodacious giveaways!
And do a drawing on Valentine’s ❤️ Day! Clients love it. We also do a drawing for Galentine’s Day.
We also make our lipsticks 💄and lip treatment 💋products or services on special. Who doesn’t love a SALE?
And tis’ the season for KISSING? 💋💋💋 Right?
Celebrate the beauty of Chinese New Year!
In your home or in your business you can celebrate the Lunar New Year too. It starts now and is a 15 day celebration. As I mentioned before I am an all American girl who just happens to be Polish and Chinese. What fun! I eat Polish kielbasa sausage and devour juicy dumplings too! I love celebrating Chinese New Year in NYC’s Chinatown. Have you ever been? The lion dance and all the other rituals and food are wonderful. The sweet treats are fabulous too.
You can bring a piece of the Asian pie so to speak by bringing in some Asian lanterns. Red is a powerful color and brings in good luck. Gold symbolizies money and and of course jade is good health and good luck. Decorate your business with any of these hues and bring in some exotic decor too.
We serve hot tea and have customized fortune cookies with our own messages inside. Or you can buy them by the box at Asian grocery stores.
Do a promotion with any Asian inspired or ingredients skin care and or body or fragrance.It is nice to have an ethnic twist. Give your clients a discount to get them to explore and shop. Your clients will notice and your cash register will ring more too.
I recently learned that not all Asians celebrate the lunar new year. In China it is not only a national holiday for days… Chinese New year is celebrated for 15 glorious days. Vietnamese have their own kind fun and festivals. S Koreans have a 3 day celebration. Lastly the Japanese revere January 1st as a very special day.
So bring it… in your business this year. You still have time to join in on the festive fun.
Gong Hei Fat Choy is Cantonese for Happy New Year…it translates into “Wishing you great happiness and prosperity.”
