Valentine’s ❤️Day Gifts on a budget!

Here are a few ideas to celebrate 🎉 and good be to someone that day!

I love,love,love ❤️ Valentine’s Day!

I love it even more that we celebrate love with the family, your Galentine, and your sweetie too.

Did you notice or know that Hershey’s has come out with a bag of Hershey’s KissesConversation Hearts?

You know like the sweet baby candy 💕hearts some of us enjoyed in our childhood and gave for Valentine’s Day at school.

The milk chocolate kisses have a sweet loveable saying/ message on the bottom!

Here’s what they read:

Me & You

Gimme A Kiss💋

Be Mine

UR Sweet

BFF

Hey You!

A kiss 4 You💋

Sweet Kiss 💋

Love & Kisses 😘

❤️ If you love kissing, chocolate and Hershey’s Kisses …run don’t walk and try and find them! Place them in little bags or boxes, sprinkle them on a bed and the floor leading to the bedroom. Rose petals work well too. But kisses 😘 will really do!

❤️Another fun idea. Is to give a kitchen whisk. Tie a big bow on it and add a gift tag or greeting card that reads… “ Let’s Whip up something together.” The foodie would really love this clever idea!

❤️Make a massage oil in your kitchen. All you need is an empty and a bottle of olive oil or some other oil. Add a few drops of your or their favorite essential oil. 🌹 Rose makes an aromatic Massage oil. If you don’t like rose choose one you love. Shake up. Pour into a glass bottle. Tie a ribbon with an invitation, include a small candle. The invitation can read: “This magic elixir is redeemable for a warm and sensual massage by candlelight.”

❤️ Nothing like sending a LOVE Letter!

Create a love letter & Or DIY Valentine card!

(Not one off the store shelf)

What this pandemic has taught us is to not only stop, slow down and smell the daisies. It is also a time to share and spread love ❤️ and let that special someone in your life how you feel! Don’t let a card say it for you. YOU write it and say how what you want to say and why.

❤️Pick Up some Chinese Takeout. Add a set of fun chopsticks and have a delicious time.
I love these so much I carry them for V-day so my clients to enjoy. Actually great for the entire family. Interactive kissy lips 👄 fun.

I hope my ideas spark your imagination and or you can use one or two of them.

After all, It’s all about the little things.

Saying “I love you“ doesn’t have to cost a fortune!

I hope you have an awesome Valentine’s Day and that you’ll spread love and kindness in your own way.

PS

You don’t have to have a Valentine to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Be YOUR own Valentine! 🥰 Love Yourself.

Candy Cane Lane

Have you gone down the candy aisle or shopped at one of Ralph Lauren’s daughter’s candy stores?

Candy canes are having a major moment right now. They come in so many hues and are so fun when used in a variety of delicious and decorative ways.

They come in so many colors and styles these days. I love to serve them to guests with milk, hot cocoa and crush them and sprinkle on top of cheesecake, cupcakes and more. I also enjoy serving my clients Candy Cane Lane hot Tea with a tiny candy cane hanging from inside the cup.

They seem to make people of all ages smile around this time of year especially.

One of my fave ways to keep it fun at my makeup studio is by making some special clients a fresh home-made lip treat. Peppermint candy canes work well and taste refreshing. But I am also over the moon with the other flavors and colors available today.

All you need for my recipe is…

  • 1 fresh jar of organic coconut oil (not used from your kitchen pantry)
  • A candy cane of your choice.

Using a kitchen mallot I crush the canes into tiny pieces but a few mini chunks work well and are visually appealing.

I then place a soup spoon (or fill with a 1/4 cup) of the coconut oil and place it in a microwave-safe small bowl. The amount of coconut oil depends on how much you want to make)

I sprinkle in a few pieces of the crushed candy cane.

I microwave for 50 seconds or less. I eyeball it. (Yes, you can do this on the stovetop but I like it this way too)

IF you want to have a peppermint kick add a dash of  food-grade peppermint oil.

Next, I take this mixture out of the microwave, stir a bit and let it cool very quickly and then place some of it in a small container. You will have leftovers depending on the size jar you use.

What you will have is a cool to the tongue and refreshing lipgloss or lip balm that is not only fun to make but this recipe is so EASY to do.

The shelf life isn’t months but more like a week or so but the feeling on dry winter lips and skin-softening will make you want to use it daily! Treat yourself or someone else this holiday season and keep those lips soft and kissable this cold winter!

Sometimes the best gifts are home-made and made with love!!! Don’t you agree?

Candy Corn Bark — NancyC

OMG! This is edible happiness!

IF you haven’t already get it done. It is time to really decorate for Halloween 🎃 in your business and or home. Every day is a reason to celebrate!

This D.I.Y. recipe looks not only fun to make but it also makes me so 😋 happy. They say we eat with our eyes first and I do believe our clients eyes and mouth are going to LOVE this. I think we will add this treat alongside our Witches Brew Cauldron Punch a potion for anti-aging this will also be a hit!

I also get a kick out of serving a REAL Trick or Treat bag. 👻 I love old school ways they did back in the day. We put a few free samples of some our new and cionicbeauty and skin care products. So every one leaves with something.

I’ve never made Candy Bark before but I sure am going to try. I think the friends, family and children will love it too!

I’ve made some quick and easy candy corn treats before, like Candy Corn “Pay Day” Mix, Candy Corn MM’s Crispy Treats, and Candy Corn Trail Mix. Here’s another super-easy candy corn recipe–Candy Corn Bark! Along with the candy corn, this bark also has mini M&M’s, pretzel twists, and dried cranberries in it. It’s a yummy, simple treat to […]
