Tea Time with flowers!

Flower 🌺 Tea who knew?

Celebrating AAPI month and I am sharing a a few Asian founders in the beauty and wellness industry with you.

The Qi – Lisa the owner has founded an awesome brand. Flower 🌺 tea! But this tea is not a tea bag nor tea leaves. The gorgeous blossoms of flowers cherry- picked in Asia make a beautiful blossoming cup of lovely!

My favorites so far are Shangri-La Rose and the Chrysanthemum.

Vegan, sustainably sourced,no preservatives.hand-picked,organically grown they work directly with small family farms across Asia.

Sipping these flowers like tea is an amazing ritual and delights the tongue!

Me time! How special!

Here is a recipe from the tea company The-Qi I not only love 💕 sipping their floral type tea …

My face loved this facial treat when I tried their facial steam recipe.

Give it a whirl!

I think you will like it too! http://www.the-qi.com

3 The-Qi whole flowers

2 cups of boiling 💦 water

*A few drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)

Add to a large bowl…

🌺Next: Place your head over the bowl 6 to 8 inches away, and drape a towel over your head, creating a steam tent.

🌸Steam your face or neck for about 5 minutes while breathing in the gorgeous floral scent.

🌺 Rinse your face and neck with luke warm water afterwards.

Pat dry.

🌸 Apply a moisturizer afterwards and rest up, Buttercup!

I apologize I have not been posting for a bit. I had a sinus infection and respiratory issue. Thankful 🙏 it wasn’t Covid!

Time to celebrate…the Lunar New Year way!

It has been a busy few days getting ready for Chinese New Year 🧧 in my personal life and in my beauty business. I love celebrating the beauty of every single day!

Yesterday I did and featured a fun segment on TV 📺 chatting it up on all things lunar new year.

Chinese New year is a 15 day celebration I didn’t want another day to go by without sharing one of my beauty secrets… Asian Rice Powder.

It is a fierce and fabulous multi-tasking beauty product!

Looks like a square chocolate brownie only it’s white in color. It reduces shine on your T-zone and makes your makeup last longer. It also makes keeps your makeup shades from turning orange. You know what I mean? Sometimes people have issues with that from their body chemistry. Very frustrating! Their foundation colors, powder or blush turns a not so pretty darker and orange like hue.

It is an iconic beauty powder that is centuries old. Not a powder from Japan theater 🎭 or used by geisha’s. It’s light and lovely. In fact people love the delicate floral scent.

Years ago I turned my clients on to this! Especially brides-to-be, brides and bridal parties.
