Merry šŸŽ„Christmas, Happy Chanukah šŸ•Ž and ā€¦

Whatever you celebrate I wish you a beautiful day and holiday season.

I’m back and have a chance to breathe and slow down. Wow! What a whirlwind it has been on my end. It’s truly called ā€œholidazeā€ for a reason.

I loved helping my clients shop for the holidays and to treat themselves and shop for someone else. I love ā¤ļø serving them a glass of bubbly or champagne and serve them some healthy yummy bites like Brie and vegetables, nuts and fruit. A few sweets on the side can’t hurt.

I also love to make them laugh and put a smile 😊 on their face! One idea I love to do when entertaining is this…

Looking for a few good men?

My clients and friends are too.

I love serving them gingerbread men on a silver platter. I brand I love ā¤ļø and is so delicious is from the Stauffer Biscuit Company I found at the Dollar General store. But I ’m sure other stores carry them. I am picky about the taste of my gingerbread men and brand.

Only the best for my clients and friends!

On display I place a sign that reads ā€œ Looking for a few good menā€ next to the silver platter of gingerbread cookies. They get such a kick out of it. Sometimes the simplest things are the best!

I also like to make my home smell amazing with a tease of the scent of gingerbread. Since I’m not baking gingerbread cookies from scratch the house does not smell like them but you can make an Aromatic Holiday Elixir in your home by simmering a pot of this.

What you will need for this fragrant DIY is:

A few drops of gingerbread essential oil

1 small orange sliced

2 cinnamon sticks

1 sprinkle of nutmeg

Add to a small saucepan filled with water. Place on low heat. Simmer away.

Your home šŸ” will smell awesome and feel cozy too!

Serve some hot cocoa and you’re all set. Marshmallows on top of course and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar.

I hope you enjoy these ideas! All the decorations, twinkling lights, eat yummy things and have fun 🤩 with friends and family. Life isn’t quite the same anymore but we have so much to be grateful for!

It’s Freezing!

Don’t laugh it feels so brisk and cold here in Northeast Florida! 🌓 The temperature is 50 degrees. I know you’re laughing at me. Or us. Yes I’m turning into a true southerner. Our weather is so unpredictable one day we’re sweating and another day we’re beyond cold. Freezing 🄶

My husband is whining and bundled up too. We’ve got cozy socks, sweaters and pajama bottoms on.

So, I decided to warm us both up with some hot apple šŸ cider. It’s working. Now to an old trick my mom did up North during the winter. I put a pot of šŸ’¦ water on. You know the size pot like making pasta. But I’m not. My mom swore it makes the house warmer in the fall & winter and adds moisture to our air.

But I wanted to take it a bit further and make a Cozy Pot of Potpourri. I like to scent the air with the following.

1 orange šŸŠ sliced

Citrus deodorizes the air too!

1 Apple šŸŽ sliced red or green it’s up to you!

A sprinkling of cloves.

A smidge of pumpkin pie spice

1 teaspoon of luxe Vanilla.

* I once got a gift šŸŽ of vanilla from my husband and I love this useful kitchen addition from his international travels. I use it in so many different ways and find it is extra fancy stuff!

2 cinnamon sticks are optional. It looks pretty in the pot. But optional.

Toss all of the above in the pot of simmering water you boiled but lowered the flame. Let all of it mix, mingle with each other and dance in the pot. I just shut off that simmering pot of scentsational love!

My kitchen and house smells so aromatic fresh & delish!! Play with this recipe like I do and vary it any way you’d like.

Thanksgiving and the other holidays are fast approaching if you’d like to scent your home ā€œnaturallyā€ and without room sprays, inexpensive candles and plug-ins. Try this!

Your guests will notice! And you will too.

It’s my favorite time of year. I love 🧔 The scents of fall and all things šŸŽƒ pumpkins and decorating my home and my business office with fall decor.

Refreshing Pumpkin šŸŽƒ Polish!

As you may know by now I love šŸ’›* pumpkins!

Here’s one of favorite recipes I love to use and have shared with my clients too!

What you will need for this DIY body recipe:

1/2 cup of sweet almond oil

1/2 cup of organic coconut oil

1 cup of raw sugar

1/2 cup of pumpkin purƩe

* Optional but aromatic You can add a sprinkling of cinnamon spice or a dash of nutmeg!

Stir all of these ingredients and place in a jam or jelly jar. Tighten that lid. Lasts a few days in the refrigerator.

Apply on a clean body and enjoy this aromatic skin polishing you’ve created! Leave on at least 10 mins. Rinse well.

Please do not use this recipe if you are allergic to any of the above. Also if in doubt do a patch test in the inner forearm or wrist. if it turns red or itches it’s no for you. This rarely happens just a word of wisdom.

Makes a great gift idea! Hostess, holiday, Birthday or a treat just got you!

Valentine’s ā¤ļøDay Gifts on a budget!

Here are a few ideas to celebrate šŸŽ‰ and good be to someone that day!

I love,love,love ā¤ļø Valentine’s Day!

I love it even more that we celebrate love with the family, your Galentine, and your sweetie too.

Did you notice or know that Hershey’s has come out with a bag of Hershey’s KissesConversation Hearts?

Photo by Jill Wellington on Pexels.com

You know like the sweet baby candy šŸ’•hearts some of us enjoyed in our childhood and gave for Valentine’s Day at school.

The milk chocolate kisses have a sweet loveable saying/ message on the bottom!

Here’s what they read:

Me & You

Gimme A KissšŸ’‹

Be Mine

UR Sweet

BFF

Hey You!

A kiss 4 YoušŸ’‹

Sweet Kiss šŸ’‹

Love & Kisses 😘

ā¤ļø If you love kissing, chocolate and Hershey’s Kisses …run don’t walk and try and find them! Place them in little bags or boxes, sprinkle them on a bed and the floor leading to the bedroom. Rose petals work well too. But kisses 😘 will really do!

ā¤ļøAnother fun idea. Is to give a kitchen whisk. Tie a big bow on it and add a gift tag or greeting card that reads… ā€œ Let’s Whip up something together.ā€ The foodie would really love this clever idea!

ā¤ļøMake a massage oil in your kitchen. All you need is an empty and a bottle of olive oil or some other oil. Add a few drops of your or their favorite essential oil. 🌹 Rose makes an aromatic Massage oil. If you don’t like rose choose one you love. Shake up. Pour into a glass bottle. Tie a ribbon with an invitation, include a small candle. The invitation can read: ā€œThis magic elixir is redeemable for a warm and sensual massage by candlelight.ā€

ā¤ļø Nothing like sending a LOVE Letter!

Create a love letter & Or DIY Valentine card!

(Not one off the store shelf)

What this pandemic has taught us is to not only stop, slow down and smell the daisies. It is also a time to share and spread love ā¤ļø and let that special someone in your life how you feel! Don’t let a card say it for you. YOU write it and say how what you want to say and why.

ā¤ļøPick Up some Chinese Takeout. Add a set of fun chopsticks and have a delicious time.
I love these so much I carry them for V-day so my clients to enjoy. Actually great for the entire family. Interactive kissy lips šŸ‘„ fun.

I hope my ideas spark your imagination and or you can use one or two of them.

After all, It’s all about the little things.

Saying ā€œI love youā€œ doesn’t have to cost a fortune!

I hope you have an awesome Valentine’s Day and that you’ll spread love and kindness in your own way.

PS

You don’t have to have a Valentine to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Be YOUR own Valentine! 🄰 Love Yourself.

Comforting!

It’s been quite a week. And I find my clients and I are stressed. Perhaps you are too! Life is tough right now.
So, I have recommended they explore a few flowery herbs to keep calm and comforted that I use. I hope you enjoy and find comfort in them too.
I use fresh lavender. I use the buds to make sachets and tuck them in my pillow case. So de-stressing! The aroma is addictive.I also love to sprinkle it on fresh baked sugar cookies just before they are done. So pretty.

The relaxing beauty of chamomile. Another gem is chamomile. I love it as a tea šŸµ with a dash of honey or agave nectar. Very relaxing. I also find it wonderful as a tea bag compress on the eyes to relax and to help those puffy eyes. Simply enjoy a cup of the tea and save the used tea bag. Apply it to your eye area once it has cooled do my use it hot from tea cup. Chill out for ten minutes.

Next up are rose 🌹 petals I love to pull them off the stem and make rose potpourri by drying the petals. I find this very relaxing and a creative time. And after it’s dried out I sprinkle them with a few dashes of rose essential oil. Place in a small bowl or sweet basket. So lovely and a relaxing light scent at your bedroom nightstand.
